Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed: The Esteemed Speaker for Hajj Sermon
In a significant announcement, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed has been appointed to deliver the Hajj sermon for Hajj 2023 on the day of Arafah, in the year 1444 AH.
According to a report by Al-Arabiya, the Haramain Authority has stated that with the approval of the Royal Court, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed will deliver the Hajj sermon from Masjid Namrah, situated in the Arafah field.
The authority has assigned Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad Al-Muaiqil as the preacher and imam of Masjid al-Haram.
Hajj Sermon: Multilingual Publication
The Hajj sermon is published in various languages, including Urdu and several other languages spoken worldwide. As per a report, the current year’s Hajj sermon will be broadcasted live in 14 different languages.
Who is Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed?
According to the report by Al-Arabiya, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed is a member of the Supreme Council of Scholars. He is also a professor at the Islamic University and serves as the Chairman of the Public Education Symposium’s Scientific Committee. Additionally, he holds a position in the Vision and Aspirations Committee.
Sheikh Dr. Yusuf obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Fundamentals of Religion at Riyadh and later pursued a Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in the same field. In 2020, he was appointed as a member of the Senior Scholars Council.
