The official trailer of the telefilm “Aik Hai Nigar” about the life of Pakistan’s first woman Lieutenant General Nigar Johar has been released. In the film, Mahira Khan has played the lead role of Nigar Johar. The telefilm is based on the life of the country’s first lieutenant general and Pakistan’s first female surgeon, Johar, who was promoted to the rank of the first three-star general of the Pakistan Army.
The nearly 2-minute trailer tells the story of Nigar Johar from his early life to his becoming a lieutenant general, how many difficulties and victories he achieved in his journey. The Pakistan Army has paid homage to Lieutenant General Nigar Johar through this film.
Mahira Khan shared the trailer of the film on her social media account yesterday and described the experience of doing this role. I hope and pray that we do justice to General Nigar’s life and legacy. Amen. In her post, Mahira Khan also thanked the film team who worked so hard to make this telefilm.
Nigar Johar is the first female surgeon in Pakistan who has dedicated her life to working in the medical field. He has been associated with the sector since 1985. Actor Bilal Ashraf will be seen in the lead role opposite Mahira Khan in the telefilm. Apart from them, actor Khushal Khan, Sohail Sameer and actress Sara are also in the film.
The story of the telefilm “Aik Hai Nigar” has been written by Umairah Ahmed. The film is directed by Adnan Sarwar and produced under the banner of Nina Kashif and Mahira Khan’s production company Sulfur Films. The telefilm will be aired on private TV channel ARY on October 23.
