In Pakistan, too, the price of gold broke all records. The price of gold per tola increased by Rs 1,100 during trading across the country.
On the second day of the business week, gold prices rose by Rs 1,100 and Rs 943 per tola and 10 grams, respectively, in the local barter markets.
As a result of price hike, the price of gold per tola in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta barter markets has gone up to a new high of Rs. The price of rose to Rs 88,391.
It may be recalled that during the last business day, the price of gold per tola and 10 grams was increased by Rs. 1300 and Rs. 1114 respectively in the barter markets, after which the new price of gold per tola and ten grams was rupees 1 lakh 2 thousands and 87,448 rupees.
During the last four business days across the country, the price of gold has increased by Rs 4,500 so far. There is a strong possibility that gold prices will continue to rise.
