Islamabad: Pervez Khattak, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has declared his resignation from all party positions.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Pervez Khattak stated that nothing good happened on May 9th, and I have already condemned the incident before. May Allah forbid such an incident from happening again.
He said that the country’s political environment is deteriorating, and I have decided to step down from the party position. I will consult with friends before making any future decisions.

It should be noted that Pervez Khattak was the provincial president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is evident that since the incident on May 9th, more than 100 PTI leaders and assembly members have already resigned from the party, and Asad Umar has also announced his resignation from the party position.
