Karachi: According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the debt of the federal government has reached 50 thousand 503 billion rupees.
According to the data released by the State Bank, government debt increased by 27% from July 2021 to July 2022, the local debt of the government is 31 thousand billion rupees and the local debt of the government increased by 16% in one year.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the external debt of the government is 19 thousand billion rupees and in one year Pakistan’s external debt has increased by 49%.
It should be remembered that Pakistan has recently signed an agreement with the IMF for 1 billion 17 million dollars according to which Pakistan has received the first installment of the loan.
According to the State Bank, the domestic debt of the government is 31 thousand billion rupees, while the external debt is 19 thousand billion rupees.
