KABUL: More than 300 burqa-clad female students rallied from a university in the Afghan capital in support of the Taliban government.
According to the International News Agency, more than 300 burqa-clad female students listened to a lecture in the cultural department of Shaheed Rabbani University and later rallied from the university to the main highway in favor of the new Taliban government.
Rally participants held placards and banners that read:
We feel safe in the burqa
Islam guarantees the protection and rights of women
We welcome the Taliban government
Burqa-clad women also chanted slogans in support of the Taliban government, while some women addressed the rally, saying female students should wear the burqa from head to toe if they want to get an education.
Holding white Taliban flags, the burqa-clad students said the march was against naked women who were calling themselves representatives of Afghan women in street protests in Kabul.
Taliban forces provided full security for the rally from the university to the main thoroughfare and by the end of March, while some Taliban continued to take pictures and videos of the rally to provide to the international media.
Women also held a seminar in favor of the veil at Kabul University today. The speakers said that all the rights of women are protected in the realm of Islam. Mercy to the birth of a daughter, half faith of the husband is complete with marriage, if you become a mother, heaven in your footsteps.

It should be noted that there have been several demonstrations of women in Kabul so far, but this is the first time that women have rallied in favor of the Taliban.
