ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced strict restrictions on citizens who do not get the corona vaccine.
Asad Omar, Federal Minister for Planning and Development and head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), told a media briefing that the outbreak was slowly coming down and the rate of positive cases was declining, with the fourth wave weakening. It seems that in the next 15 days, this trend will be further stabilized and corona cases will be reduced, which will reduce the pressure on hospitals.
The planning minister said that in major cities, 40 per cent of the population over the age of 15 needs to be fully vaccinated. The situation has improved in 18 of the 24 worst-hit districts, where restrictions are being lifted, meaning that from September 16, educational institutions with 50 per cent attendance will open and inter-city bus service will be allowed with 50 per cent rides. However, closures will remain in six districts – Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujarat and Bannu.
Asad Omar said sanctions against non-vaccinated citizens would be gradually increased, preventing them from doing things that could endanger others, and imposed strict restrictions on those who did not receive both doses by September 30. Will go
Asad Omar elaborated on the restrictions on non-vaccinated citizens, said that air travel would be banned, both shopkeepers and customers would be barred from shopping malls, bookings in hotels and guest houses would be stopped, indoor outdoor dining and weddings I will not be able to attend, all non-vaccinated teaching and non-teaching staff in educational institutions will not be able to continue their work after September 30.
Asad Omar added that 52% of the population in Islamabad, a city of 2 million people, has been fully vaccinated, so there is no reason why other cities should not be vaccinated.

I think it should be the personal choice of every Pakistani whether he should be vaccinated or not.
Forcing people to do so is a clear violation of human rights.
