Bill Gates, who visited Pakistan this week to help eradicate polio, has warned that another epidemic like COVID-19 could soon engulf the world.

According to the media sources, Bill Gates, co-chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, acknowledged that the risk of serious illness from Covid 19 was dramatically reduced as people became more immune to the virus.

In an interview with CNBC, Bill Gates said that a new pandemic could be spread by various pathogens belonging to the corona virus family. However, he hoped that medical technology Progress will further help the world to fight it.

Bill Gates pointed out that the corona virus has been around for almost two years now and the worst effects of the epidemic are diminishing due to some degree of immunity in a large part of the world’s population.

He added that the latest version of ‘Omicron’ shows that its intensity has also decreased.

Instead of giving credit to global efforts to control the epidemic, Bill Gates said that as the virus spread, so did its immune system, and that this trend of more viruses than vaccines played a key role in its eradication.

The risk of serious illness, which is often associated with old age and obesity or diabetes, has now been dramatically reduced due to immunity to the infection, he said.

Bill Gates says it is too late for the World Health Organization (WHO) to reach its goal of vaccinating 70% of the world’s population by mid-2022, when 61.9% of the world’s population needs at least one vaccine. Got food.

He urged health professionals and officials to move faster to develop and distribute vaccines when the next epidemic strikes the world.

Bill Gates added in his interview that next time we should try and do it within six months, instead of two years.

He added that standard platforms, including Messenger RNA (MRNA) technology, would make this possible.

In an interview with Sean NBC, Bill Gates said that the cost of preparing for the next epidemic is not very high, it is not like climate change, if we think rationally, the next time we have an epidemic. Will control
