A Pakistani woman Ayesha Akram who routinely posts and creates video on the TikTok application claims she has been “attacked” on Saturday’s Pakistan Independence Day by hundreds of people in Lahore.
The Pakistani TikToker Ayesha Akram registered an FIR in this respect, complaining that during the turmoil people tore her clothes and started throwing her in the air while she and her colleagues were trying to escape from the mob. She further said that her ring and earrings have been “forcibly removed” by unidentified persons in the throng, while one of her companions’ mobile telephone and identity cards were also ‘snapped’ together with roughly 15,000 PKR.
A social media video of the incident went viral, with networks trying to find guys who have spotted the video and pushing for legal action against them. The police in Lahore, on their part, however, have filed a case against hundreds of unidentified individuals for attacking and robbing the TikToker woman.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) at Lorry Adda police station in the city, the incident took place in the Greater Iqbal Park neighbourhood of Lahore on Independence Day. At accordance with the complaint, on 14 August, the TikToker and six of their pals filmed a video in Minar-e-Pakistan marked Independence Day in the country, which had been attacked by some 300 to 400.
