Afghan women footballers arrived in Lahore with their families and coaches

Lahore: Afghan women footballers arrived in Pakistan with their families and coaches.

Officials from the Pakistan Football Federation and Sports Board Punjab welcomed the Afghan contingent.

Afghan women footballers, their families and other staff will stay at FIFA House.

The Afghan contingent came to Pakistan from Torkham border yesterday. In the first phase, 79 people reached Pakistan.

They were garlanded in Lahore, Pakistan. The players’ families are also with them

Dozens of players from Afghanistan’s women’s football team arrived in Pakistan via the Torkham border. They had travel documents and visas.
