Dr. Al-Ibrahimi Al-Jarwan, chairman of the Saudi Emirates Society and a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy, has announced that the month of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is likely to appear on April 1 and the first fast may be on Saturday, April 2.
According to a foreign news agency, Dr. Ibrahimi says that Ramadan is likely to start from April 2 in most Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia.

He said that at the beginning of Ramadan the fast will be 13 hours 40 minutes but its duration will reach 14 hours and at the end the duration of fasting will be 14 hours 20 minutes.
Regarding Eid-ul-Fitr, Dr. Al-Ibrahimi said that Eid-ul-Fitr is expected on May 2, 2022.
