Pakistan and Iran Military Leadership Vow to Combat Terrorism in Border Areas
In a significant development, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, General Syed Asim Munir, and his Iranian counterpart recently pledged to jointly tackle the issue of terrorism in the border regions. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement, confirming that during General Munir’s two-day visit to Tehran, he held detailed discussions with the military leadership of Iran, including Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces.
