During his recent two-day visit to Türkiye, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had the opportunity to meet various world leaders and engage in discussions on strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation between Pakistan and their respective countries.
Arriving in Ankara on Friday for an official visit, the prime minister attended a ceremony commemorating the re-election of Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the president of the country. On Saturday, he participated in the ceremony, which marked an important milestone for Türkiye.

Throughout the meetings, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the government’s vision to facilitate foreign direct investment and encourage joint ventures. The focus was on expanding trade and investment ties to maximize mutual gains and explore available opportunities in Pakistan. The goal was to enhance cooperation in key sectors of the economy through direct participation from Turkish enterprises and collaboration with Pakistani counterparts.
During his visit, the prime minister also met with notable figures such as Devlet Bahceli, the former deputy prime minister of Türkiye and Chairman of MHP, conveying his congratulations on their success in the elections. Furthermore, he held discussions with Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, with both leaders expressing their commitment to promoting bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged in an interaction with Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber. They discussed the establishment of a market at the Balochistan-Sistan border and the prime minister’s recent meeting with the Iranian president. The premier welcomed the commencement of barter trade between the two countries, expressing confidence in the mutual benefits it would bring to the people of both nations.
Another significant meeting took place with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, where regional cooperation, connectivity, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation were key topics of discussion.

During his visit, the prime minister also extended an invitation to Turkish businessmen, urging them to invest in Pakistan and establish strategic collaborations in sectors such as energy, agriculture, information technology, and construction. Turkish business group executives took the opportunity to meet with the prime minister in Ankara and explore potential avenues for cooperation.
