The mini-budget will be presented in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The federal government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to present the mini budget in the National Assembly tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Federal Minister for Information said that the Mini-budget would be introduced in the National Assembly tomorrow. The Mini-budget will be introduced in the National Assembly after cabinet approval. The IMF program is in place.
Asked about the opposition’s protest against the mini-budget, the Federal Minister said that when the budget has to be presented, the opposition talks like this, whenever there is any important legislation, the opposition has to sell the thief. Tell me if they have any option other than IMF. We had to go to the IMF because of the problems created by Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.
Fawad Chaudhry said that at present the whole world is facing inflation, the pressure of inflation is on the governments, today our economy is growing at the rate of 5%, big companies have earned more than 1000 billion. There is inflation for the salaried class but in general the situation is not so bad. Elections are lost not because of inflation but because of shortcomings in politics. Wage earners are under pressure from global inflation. There is no inflation for the people of rural areas. Cotton production is 44% higher. Pakistan is much better today than it was three years ago. The economy is moving in the right direction. Sales of tractors, motorcycles and cars have doubled.
The Federal Information Minister said that Nawaz Sharif should not come back today or tomorrow, if someone steals a motorcycle, the whole family is put in jail. Shahbaz Sharif bailed his brother. He should be put in jail tomorrow. Nawaz Sharif is celebrating in London. Nawaz Sharif is sitting in London and stealing money from Pakistan. Former Prime Minister sits in a new restaurant in UK every day. There is no way that the decision was given in the case of PML-N leader. They go to restaurants, sometimes clubs.
Asked about the relationship between the government and the army, the federal minister said that there was no change in the relationship between the two. Relationships are in the same position they were 3 years ago today.
