The Infinix smartphone is built with Glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio A25 (12 nm) 1.8 Ghz Octa Core processor. The smartphone comes with a 6.82 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 720 x 1640 pixels resolution.

Infinix Hot 9 Play smartphone consists of AI Dual camera on the rear side that features 13 MP (wide) while on the front there is a single 8 MP (wide) camera.

The device is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 6000 mAh battery. The smartphone comes with sensors such as Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The phone runs on the Android 10.0 + XOS 6.0 operating system. The Infinix Hot 9 Play comes in different colors Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan, Violet, and Ocean Wave. It features micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go.
